Holiday 2008-2009 Driving

Holiday 2008-2009 DrivingAs promised… here’s more about my escapades behind the wheel over the holiday.

I’ve included all of the major “destination to destination” legs of the trip, though there are certainly more miles not included here. More specifically, random local driving for shopping or food/drink are not included. My guess is that with all additional local mileage, the total for the trip would easily be over 2,000 miles.

That’s easily the longest “East Coast Tour” I’ve ever undertaken. Nicole and I have been on a few in the past, but it’s usually comprised of the typical trips to Connecticut and the Philadelphia area to see each of our familes. Nothing more than 600-700 miles. However, this trip took us to upstate NY for a wedding two days after christmas, southern Vermont for some skiing, and more time in and around Philadelphia than normal, as we had a New Years party and another wedding to attend.

Here’s the leg-by-leg breakdown…
