Check out that sky!!! And the reflection in the glass of the building!!!

I couldn’t resist this picture… Nicole and I were sitting on the deck at Rumors at the corner of 19th and M Streets NW, having a few drinks and waiting for a friend and former coworker to meet up with us. As sunset turned to dusk and the sky above us darkened, these deep hues of blue started to fall over us. While the sky itself was impressive, the color that was reflected in the facade of the building across the street was truly impressive.

The weather the past few days has been simply spectacular. Going from the mid-50s on Saturday to potentially 70 degrees tomorrow (Wednesday), this has been a decidedly anti-winter February. Perhaps Mother Nature decided to give the finger to that groundhog from Pennsylvania (and the Pittsburgh Steelers) and give us an extended version of this mid-winter spring. And that’s fine with me…
