Thievery Corporation and, an elevator?
So, Nicole and I, along with some friends, went to go see the third show (as well as the fifth, the final show) that Thievery Corporation put on during their recent stint at the 930 Club.
We began the evening at our friend’s apartment for some drinks. After a short cab ride to the Club, we were ready for some phenomenal live music. Which, of course, it was. Thievery is definitely a fun show to see, and if you have the means, I highly recommend it.
Afterwards, we stopped by The Blaguard to close out the evening. Nicole and I headed home, hopped in the elevator in our building, and what would you know? The elevator got up to our floor, stopped, and the doors never opened!
We ended up calling 9-1-1, and after about 45 minutes inside the elevator, some fire fighters finally came and were able to open the doors. I snapped this picture at some point during our seemingly eternal amount of time alone in there. Definitely a unique way to end the evening!

And, I’m particularly proud of the video snippets I spliced together from the Thursday show as well:
